Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, password), subscribing (processed by Razorpay — we never store card numbers), uploading a profile picture, or submitting a ban appeal.

We also automatically collect: listening history and progress, library saves, session cookies, and theme preference.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to authenticate you, deliver and personalize the streaming service, process payments via Razorpay, track your listening streak and history, send in-app notifications, enforce our Terms of Service including bans, and improve our platform.

3. Cookies

We use authentication session cookies, the rs_theme preference cookie, the rs_cookie_consent cookie, and — for free users only — Adsterra advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

4. Third-Party Services

Razorpay processes payments securely. Cloudinary hosts images and audio, with paid audio delivered via signed, time-limited URLs. Adsterra serves ads to free users and may set its own cookies.

5. Audio Security

Paid audio is delivered via Cloudinary's authenticated delivery with 1-hour signed URLs, ensuring only active premium subscribers can access it.

6. Subscription and Ban Records

We retain subscription history including plan type, dates, and Razorpay reference IDs. Ban reasons and appeal records are retained for review purposes. Revocation records are kept for audit purposes.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. After deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

8. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data. Update profile information anytime via Settings.

9. Children

Our Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this policy periodically and notify you of significant changes via in-app notification.
